Born and raised in a small beach town in New Jersey, Tyler Andrew began taking photographs while driving across America with friends in his twenties. In recent years, he has been based in New York, creating collages and video works. He has previously exhibited his work in Philadelphia, New York, Kobe, and Honolulu. Tyler is able to capture what some might consider boring moments in romantic and personal ways. His work is inspired by personal letters, quotes from books and movies, and dreams. He usually spends his time skateboarding, being in nature, listening to records, watching movies, and cooking with friends.
