The Asian Everyday
In attempting an analysis of the concept of the everyday in Asia through the context of its urban and architectural phenomena, this volume selects five practices from across the region: Yang Zhao (China), Maki Onishi and Yuki Hyakuda (o+h, Japan), Ling Hao (Singapore), Chatpong Chuenrudeemol (Thailand), and Vo Trong Nghia (Vietnam). The featured projects reflect how each Asia is specific, each with its own everyday, which in turn calls for a specific reading of a place, city, and context, and also a response to that.
