Purple 43: The Tokyo Diary Issue

For more than 30 years, PURPLE has maintained a significant presence in Tokyo, yet we have never devoted an entire issue to Japan. The new Spring/Summer 2025 issue will be an ode to Japan, showcasing its contemporary culture as a force of radical inspiration for today. This issue will avoid all forms of Japonism or any touristic or nostalgic fascination with Japan. Instead, it offers an avant-garde, innovative, and resolutely contemporary approach to Japan and its influence.
